Paul Kruger Gate Protests

Guests of Kruger National Park are informed that Paul Kruger Gate is inaccessible due to protests taking place at communities outside the gate (approximately 20 km away from the Park) on the R536, today, 28 June 2018 and is blocked at the moment.

Guests are advised to, for now, use alternative gates such as Phabeni (which is about 10 km away from Hazyview on the R536) to enter or exit the Park until further notice. The situation is being monitored closely.

We've been reliably informed that the community members of Cork Trust are planning to close the R536 road to Skukuza tomorrow morning on 2019/07/10 at about 04:00am, which will affect Kruger Gate. Guests are advised to use Phabeni Gate as an alternative.

I checked a bit. The gate access is still blocked, but access to Cork is open and Private Reserve gate access is via Ronaldsea!

Kruger Gate inaccessible due to protests

10 July 2019

Guests travelling to and from the Kruger National Park are hereby advised that Kruger Gate is inaccessible due to protests, today, 10 July 2019. The protests are taking place at Cork Trust, on the R536 road, leading to Kruger Gate.

Guests entering and exiting the Park should please make use of alternative gates such as Phabeni- and Numbi Gates, until further notice.
