Thermal cameras work best at night... no point showing an image in the day because as Lis says it looks poor compared to a normal photo. But I see their point... you have some potential to spot things 'through' the bush that you might otherwise miss due to the heat signature. Presumably there's a kickback for latest sightings on sales given the price
