Dindingwe wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:21 am n°5 could be a Snake-Eagle too, but the white marking just below the eye makes me think of a Harrier (maybe a Pallid Harrier ???)

Mel wrote: Fri Oct 26, 2018 8:46 pm The fourth one I'd also consider as a brown snake eagle because of the streaked head.
But I'm not entirely sure about that.

I'd like to think that this is a juvenile black-chested snake-eagle? Taken in Kruger in 2017.

I thought BCSN because of the white inside of the tail.

Right :-? But also the black-chested has bars on the tail and there is no sign of black chest nor white underside. The head is that of a brown snake-eagle and also the posture IMO.
