Lis, that flight action is very common in albatrosses and all photographers want to get that shot head-on!!


We found out that they would take the stabilisers off when they wanted to increase speed. I think they took them off most nights, because we felt the rocking and rolling more in bed!

White-chinned Petrels. These were one of the most common birds we saw. They nest in burrows, and there are around 50 000 breeding pairs on the Prince Edward Islands.
