Quite a wingspan  You got it from all angles ^Q^

Not many people have seen an albatross, if they don't live in the Southern Hemisphere from Antarctica to South America, Australia or New Zealand.

Vertical flight with the head horizontal

Nice waves, but I suppose that the ship is so big that you do not feel it -O-

Lis, that flight action is very common in albatrosses and all photographers want to get that shot head-on!! :-0 When the ship's stabilisers are on, you don't feel the waves too much but there is still a rocking motion. Other times, we really felt them, and walking in a straight line was difficult!! lol
We found out that they would take the stabilisers off when they wanted to increase speed. I think they took them off most nights, because we felt the rocking and rolling more in bed! O**

White-chinned Petrels. These were one of the most common birds we saw. They nest in burrows, and there are around 50 000 breeding pairs on the Prince Edward Islands.
