Now he is an inscrutable fellow at times, and large, with the piercing blue-eyed expression of a rather portly serial killer, so I shut up and behaved very well after that!

Being Africa Wild members in good standing, we NEVER give up...so hatched another plan! we would speed off to Shitlhave Dam, where we had seen plenty animals that morning, and then put the pics up back at base within the hour!



Somehow we ended up on Shabeni hill...

Gump likes trees, so ordered me to photograph this one. I followed orders!

So Gump dropped me off at Pretoriuskop and went home, suggesting that I take a nap, for some reason?

I checked into my rather grotty accommodation. (I think this was the first time I had ever overnighted in Kruger alone?)
After moving to the bed without the bloodstains on the sheets, and resting under aircon a bit until my fever felt better, I determined to go for a drive!

I am sure I did, because I can recognise the Silver Suppository in this pic!
