Thanks everybody.

Does anyone know what type of spider it is that I posted between those photos of mine?

I have seen a spider like that before but this is the first time that I could actually take a picture of it.

I would really like to know.

THANKS

This is a spider that we found while we cleaned one of the enclosures. If someone can please give me an ID on it, I will be grateful. I saw this spider on a previous occasion but I still don't know what type of spider it is. As you can see it is shiny, that is because it is a silver spider.

I think, it's a Garden spider of the genus Argiope perhaps A. australis. :-?

Have a look here:

Hi Toko.

Thanks for the link but I don't think it is a garden spider because everywhere where it is so shiny in that picture, it is silver. And it is quite a big spider (almost as big as the palm of ones hand - legs included).

But I really appreciate your help \O

I almost walked into a garden spider when cleaning one of the enclosures O-/
