Got some info that a ranger there says 1500 rhino have been dehorned over the last year, leading to only a dozen poaching incidents in the last number of months!
Guests who spot a rhino with horns are asked to report it and the location to the operations centre.

Good news but this must also add weight to the speculation that there are less than 1800 rhino left in Kruger
