What a stunning Leopard .Posing like a super model .

Lovely Bateleur and Hyenas.

It was simply such a wonderful morning and the rest of the day was on top not that bad too

Great pics of the bushbabies, and an absolutely stunning sighting of the leopard!! You were so lucky that she posed so nicely for you!

We were indeed happy that we finally could capture the bushbabies after hearing them already that often

[Pumbaa]

In a tree close to the road we then discovered a couple of knob-billed ducks



who also were so relaxed and busy with their morning routine



a bit farer away on a tree top I then detected a crested barbet.



Finally we again stood in front of Renosterkoppies and simply enjoyed the view



from there into each direction although often seen but nevertheless always a brilliant one



and then we indeed could turn into the S21, a road which was always closed the past years so we were happy that we were finally allowed to drive same again and on which I remember lots of causeways to be crossed and the first one came right the second I thought that.



Luckily all of them were extreme easy drivable and no nasty surprises awaited us on that road. We stopped for a nicely posing lone wildebeest



and even discovered a bit farer away in a bush and on the ground a family of ground hornbills, also captured now one of the many golden orb web spiders



and had to cross more lovely causeways.

Then it got a bit quiet for a long time but then we noticed a parking car on the roadside and noticed a lion on the ground so we stopped and waited but not long because then from behind a bush another lion appeared and joined the one of the ground





to start to cuddle with the other one so we had two big boys where for a while only paws and bellies could be seen.



Both were now lying in the sun but we already supposed that this will not last that long and so it was when the one with the dark mane decided to walk away and only the one with the blonde mane was now visible and even lifted his head.



Meanwhile we had the sighting all to ourselves and simply enjoyed the silence there and the presence of the lions.



The one with the dark mane had chosen a place behind a bush and was not longer to be seen and our blonde friend moved a bit forward and was now hidden by grass but we moved a bit forward and so we could continue to admire him again



Obviously something was itching





and now a second car arrived and we pointed the lions out to them but blondie meanwhile had enough and now he joined the dark manes one

Totally right about the manes - Both of them had proper ones - Often the manes are a bit meager
