These so called havens and sanctuaries are not only bad for elephants but also for the staff

I've actually been there and ridden the ellies! it is great fun and all seemed organised and happy.

I hate those places that offer Wild Ellie Rides , Lion Cub Petting and Cheetah Tracking and Walking with Adult Lions (Normally before they are sold off to become a rug in Texas

I have seen one of those places in India and my husband and I ran away after 5 minutes. All the elephants were chained. They got a bath every day, but with people sitting on top of them. The worst was that nobody understood what was wrong
