The two last photos are brilliant O/\ O/\

The klipspringers standing on their "toes" never stop to marvel me and the mom and lil'one are sooo lovely [Luv]

Lovely sightings, Rog! O/\ O/\ X#X X#X

Early mornings are not really so exciting for picnic spots and water points... lol

Well done on following the antelope directions to the lions! ;-)

 we have learnt to watch the locals they often know more about what is going on around the area lol

:ty: They were at the limit of the camera zoom on the opposite bank and with the overcast weather we did battle a bit to get some decent pics .Still learning the ins and outs of the Camera that the rugrats bought me for Christmas. The Cub we were looking for and did not really pickup until after we took the picture as it blended with the adult .

So after relaying the directions to the Lion sighting to the OSV with two guests and the fact that there were some Cubs to be seen .The OSV driver casually say oh when I move you should be able to see the pride of Lions on the rocks . And low and behold when he moved there was a pride of older Lions and Juveniles on the rocks

Image

One of the Juveniles was on the lookout at something in the drainage that we could not see as were the Adults .
Image

We spent about 20 mins with them and again no other vehicles arrived by this time the need to find a loo was getting seriously urgent and we left the sighting without passing it on again 0*\

After hitting the Tar towards Skukuza we came across a small traffic Jam . Considering we were only 5 mins from Skukuza it was really a small jam by Skukuza city standards and very quickly we got a turn to see the cause .

Doggies were moving about trying to find some shade .The cloud cover had started to burn off and the heat was rising rapidly <hot> Image

We did a drive by shooting as there was another urgent need .
Image

We finally made it to the office loos by the Garage and a huge weight was lifted lol lol We did not intend getting stuck in Skukuza city so we quickly finished up and left towards the back sand roads to Lower Sabie ...
