A leopard trip!

That Timfenene loop is often quiet, but also less tourists!

Was the thatch damaged at Gardenia?

Yes was our Leopard day

Not sure on the thatch .There was huge gaps in the wooden covering of the hide and the covered in walkway down to the hide .... We also noted later in the trip that the bird hide by Lower Sabie is also still blocked off

An early start to the next day .We were heading to Marloth for the night and a night with my Sister . We decided that we were not ready to do 2 hours on the corrugated river road so would go via Afsaal to Biyamiti and find our way to Croc Bridge.
Our first sighting was on the lookout for predator's also

A Kudu posed for us

As did these water buck

We found a clan returning from a night out .Light was still very grey so not easy to get a clear shot as they were moving

Then again not far from them more members were on the move

Guess it was a Hyena day
Then not far from Afsaal this Clan was stationary & cooling off all together

We stopped to enjoy some time alone with them

And then ...
