Thank you once again. :ty:

I can't believe the luck I'm having at the moment here on Grietjie. I was invited to Phil and Trish for dinner last night, as they are leaving Grietjie tomorrow to return to the UK. I helped Trish find her way around the forum and helped her post her first pic. We then had dinner and a "kuier". It was then time to leave and I was not gone 5 minutes, when I phoned them to tell them about the sighting I was at. It took them a few minutes and they joined me. That sighting, with pics will be revealed after this post. ;-)

Let me start with some pics during the day, yesterday. First up, a Waterbuck...

Time for the big reveal...

I was driving slowly along the old airstrip, keeping a watch not to drive over any of the very relaxed Impala. In the distance I saw what I thought was more Impala eyes, until I got closer...

The pack of dogs was lying on the strip, eyeing the distant Impala and I couldn't believe my eyes. Made the call and then started taking pics. Please excuse the quality, as they were taken using the car headlights as the only light, no flash and ISO bumped up to 25600.

Here they are, no more words from me...

Unfortunately, we couldn't find them this morning. :-(

Until next time, from paradise... X#X
