Re: The "Corona Virus" and the Consequences

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: The "Corona Virus" and the Consequences
That's the Brimingham pride which is usually in the contractual park outside Orpen, also called Ngala reserve. You can see them now almost daily on the wildearth live safaris. They have two white lions, a young male and a female cub.

Re: The "Corona Virus" and the Consequences
Yesterday morning they were seen on the border of Ngala about 0,5km from Orpen camp as the crow flies.
They were in long grass so was difficult to see the two white lions

Re: The "Corona Virus" and the Consequences
Yes I am always the only person leaving in the Dark in Aug from Tamboti or Maroela at Gate opening every morning..always nice to sweep the road first en route to my Cheetahs on the H7/S36 otherwise its a waste of petrol driving all that way from PE and back ..you can always sleep in back at home ..The tourists you talk about are still checking in at Orpen Gate Reception from outside lodges at the gate (Thats why it is best to sleep in the Park ) ..This pride lives on Ngala on the Timbavati side of Orpen to the West ..I have been watching the early morning 'Wild Earth' Safaris on You Tube every morning and evening and Idube (Sabi Sands) and Ngala (Timbavati South) share this channel and the 2 white lions are part of the Pride ..1 Cub and 1 almost full adult during the Lock Down . Richard Sowry is the Kingfisherspruit Section Ranger who is also responsible for the South of Timbavati so he knows this pride well.

Both white ..they are from the adjacent pride ..look at the You Tube videos every morning and evening and you will see this pride most game drives..They live to the west of Orpen as does the Skybed Pride ..currently not in Kruger but further South at Manyeleti ..The 2 Birmingham Males look after this Pride are not in the picture ..They were originally further North on Motswari but conquered this pride 2 years ago
