It was too early to check in yet so off to Shitlhave Dam...

The concrete trough built in the dam for emergencies...it is underwater for most of the year.

I had time to kill and there was bugger-all happening, so had some tea!
Actually there is always something..giant turtles like at Sunset Dam!
And the more tea I had the more obsessed I became with identifying these things who paraded up and down the whole time...
I had my trusty Aged Tome Of Birds in the Effeminate Basket, standard in the Silver Suppository, so came up with Common Greenshank!
