Inside the water it is much nicer
but playing together is also in the wet element possible
and with watching the young hippos the time was again ticking down and meanwhile it was time to drive back to camp.
Although it was a quiet day the experience with the torrential rainfall was something we never underwent before it was a great one and same got even greater when we got visited by Miss Satara that evening whilst our braai was going
and later we also spotted a huge bug running around which simply had to be captured as well.
Tuesday, 20 February 2018 - Satara
Explored roads that day: H1-4 - H1-3 - H6 - S37 - S41 - S100 - H1-3 - S126 - S36 - H7 - H1-4
Today it was even quieter than the previous days at Satara which was a bit disappointing but you cannot have everything but at least it was dry today and we could discover two giant eagle owls
in a tree and whilst this one was calling its mate kept hidden in another tree very well
and so we could only photograph this one.
The group of hyenas who came across next was therefore far better visible as nearly all of them were lying in the open
and were mostly extreme lazy.
