17 November - Day 5: TR to Mata Mata and back:

As soon as Nico and Werner left the park we took the road to Mata Mata and this time I had 2 more passengers to help if we get stuck in the sand

We had some great sightings and a lifer at the end

We arrived at Mata Mata with no problems.....we didn't even get stuck in the sand

The three young ones tried to defect to Namibia

For about 50kms we saw the usual suspects but then Tataruka with her eagle eyes spotted these 2

Apparently the ostrich woman also looks after the kids a bit, doesn't just leave the poor guy to do everything as thought!

Having fun tagging along here - love the bunny pic way back at the start, haven't seen them on many of our trips, much less in such open areas

You're making me "homesick" ...except the stuck in the sand bit - been there, done that
