In the meantime , the resident African Hoopoo is also raising a clutch of youngsters , foraging on front of the house ..

Maybe we should have a "best plot of 2017" competition between you and H.?
Seeing as it is matric time...I remember one year when a hoopoe decided to sit in the upper windows at the back of our school hall and scream his call endlessly...I couldn't get to him, so it was a tough afternoon!
