His facial expressions said it all: “Kids!”

Image

Both of the big daddies could not be stumped by the younger ones as they obviously already experienced far upsetting things.

“Yiepie”

Image

Now a bit high-spirited also the other one of the daddies received his just desert and as soon as the playtime started same was then over again

Image

at least for a couple of seconds and after we had been eyed penetratively another victim soon had been found and it started again

Image

Image

and when the other sister got enough from playing a branch had to bite in the dust.

Image

We changed a bit our position where we stood to also get a better view onto the other huge male

Image

and also the others as it got quiet again and also the younger ones needed a well earned rest from practising attacks

Image

and the eyes got heavier and heavier

Image

for sure the yawning had to be down in regular intervals

Image

and then the head had to be put onto the paws.

It was the whole day extreme windy and nearly drizzled the whole time we watched that pride of lions but same did not bother the rain at all.

Image

Image

Suddenly we got a visit from the other car which we met already earlier and they just wanted to make sure whether we found the lions – They only stayed shortly and wished us still fun – I guess they already admired them earlier already extensively, however, I found it extreme kind to check again whether we found them. A herd of zebras approached from behind

Image

but the zebras were well aware of the lions and also the lions started to look longingly into the direction of the zebras

Image

and we simply had to admire the two very impressive and handsome males close to where we parked as they simply were happy with the life itself and the company of each other and the other members of the pride that they did not pay any attention to the zebras.

Image

Image

The lions were very well aware of the approaching zebras but for sure they were too lazy to even stand up

Image

but after a while some of the lions which lied so far farer away under the bushes moved a bit to have a better view

Image

and so did a couple of others as well besides our sleepy brothers

Image

and another male.

Image

to be continued...
