That was one of the best beaches we have ever seen. We are having a great time with photographing all the animals, birds and landscapes. Looking forward to posting our Addo trip.

That's for sure Toko. Everything is working out just great and the weather is playing its part as well. Just finished three amazing days in Addo.

Hi nan. The water at Kenton for the days we were there was very calm and beautiful.

Hi Mel. Yers, that lying on the beach and staring out to sea was really tiring. Got home exhausted at night. The boat trip was amazing.

26 APRIL 2015 - DAY 11 - KENTON ON SEA TO ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK - PART 1/2


Our arrival at South gate.



We had arranged to meet PJL and his son at Jacks Picnic Spot at 14:30 so we had time to take a slow drive up.

The first sighting was these guys not far from the gate.



Our first Addo ellie.



This must be one of the most photographed landscapes in South Africa.



A Leopard Tortoise crossing the road.



Two dagga boys giving each other the beady eye across the Marion Baree waterhole.





A male Kudu suddenly came galloping out of the bushes giving the one dagga boy quite a fright.

26 APRIL 2015 - DAY 11 - KENTON ON SEA TO ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK - PART 2/2


Now we know why it is called Addo Elephant National Park.



We met PJL and his son at Jacks, had a good chat and then followed him around the Park for the rest of the afternoon. PJL also gave us all the ins and outs of what could possible be found where which was a great help.

Came across these Meerkats scampering around near Hapoor.



This guy acted like a traffic cop while the gang crossed the road.

Fantastic to get back to Addo through your eyes and lens! A really beautiful park and by the end of next week the latest,
I'll know if we will go back next year. Really beautiful there and your scenery photos are grand! Lots of familiar faces animal-wise too.
