Over and above the very gutteral remarks flowing,
there was still a droning noise overpowering the quite
peace of the bush!! Camp was maybe 5 K's away,.....
tranquility just 5 more K's,.....

But there was this drone in the bush!, and I looked up
to the rear view mirror,.........................

Just in time to see a silver/grey vehicle leading one
ginormous cloud of dust and it flashed past us.

There was a rumble in the jungle. Not in all the visits
to Kruger, have I ever witnessed anything like this and
that includes me speeding!!!!!! 100 would be mild,......

Suddenly our vehicle was rocking from side to side,....
standing still...

Said to the SO, hey doll gees this is not normal, she
replied in other more directive vocab that this is it!!!,
The ...... whatever does not rightfully deserve any space
on this planet, said to her " what a moron".

We continued driving but this incident had us rattled.
It put the spark right back into road rage, which should
not be so, at least not here. We continued driving.

We settled! While driving and getting to grips with
this incident, it crossed my mind, Speeding in the
parks, other forum, much debate, when sure as s.i.
out the bush pops -up a traffic cop,... sighting of the
day!!!! Heh he....,.,.

Dusty, mentally drained and now totally confused to
see a lonely stranger walking in the bushes I decided

Hah, let me confront this man,...slammed the brakes
and reversed, protruding nogal and waving a finger!!!

"Did you just witness some idiot flying past"? He replied
yes and told us that he had repremanded the driver. In
the same breath also managed to tell us, he had no trapping
gear set out! A long story!!! He also mentioned documenting
the incident!! Oh well, all roads lead to one source!!!

There would be a T junction soon, Puda gate left 5k's and Punda camp right,
whatever distance!! All sorts of thoughts crossed my mind. It was not 5.30
yet by a long shot and I would not be surprised to find the driver in camp.

Shure as hell, as we drove up to reception there was the vehicle!!!!!

very well dressed male in pinstripe shirt waving
a cool drink, as if to say!!!

The other one joined and together they adopted
attitude as if to say,.....

These morons were heading for SA, not leaving!!

They admitted being confronted by traffic officials!
They admitted to speeding but called for the gate!

With a smirk they left us sitting there pondering!!
