We managed to get out for our usual afternoon drive down the river loops.
At the low level causeway there's a large puddle across the road and a Little Egret and a Hammerkop were fishing there.






Along the river some big dragons were soaking up some rays.

And a young Elephant was rehearsing the dying swan routine.





As usual in this area, there were plenty of Elephants in evidence.

This one was having trouble getting out of the mud.

This is what the dam wall looks like.

Back at camp I found some more bugs.This one is probably an Assassin Bug.


A surprisingly colourful moth.

A small Mantid.

And a spotty moth that may be a Speckled Grey Footman.
