Re: Backyard wildlife
That's an awesome visitor, Gerrie!

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Go to: User Control Panel (left upper corner on you screen), then Profile and just edit!

At least on this topic I don't have to struggle to identify them!

Mayfly on my front door (rotated it to appear horizontally)

These spiders have rotating eyeballs that are green or black or any combination thereof. ( REALLY Cool dudes.)

As the joke goes - MOSQUITOS, Florida's State Bird - (male)

Female Regal Jumping Spider. Don't know if I uploaded one of the male previously (will check), but he is black with iridescent green thingys (palps?

Will cover birds, etc. later. Just needed a break from all the scientific gobbledy-GEEK of the Invertebrates thread

What settings do you use? You seem to get much bigger DOF than I do!

Grr-rr got the whole thing typed and then the SQL or whatever error
100ponder (=Gerrie
), great critter-friend to have in your yard! We have iguanas, but they are considered undesirables, as they are an invasive, "exotic" species.
BluTuna, I shoot Manual mode, RAW format, starting at 1/250 @ f 14.0 w/ Twin Lites at 1:1 and ISO 100, usually having to lower the light to 1:2 or even less. I adjust from there if using extension tubes , maybe up the ISO, lower the f-stop, etc., generally using f 10 - 16.
Please don't ask me a really technical question, or you'll baffle me completely.
Here's one of my favorite birdie pics from our wetland wonderland:

Cormorant
Was wanting to post our woodpecker species, but need to dig deeper for photos.
Bye bye for now.
