Re: Backyard wildlife
Thanks for the comments
and thanks Toko for the ID, I'll check that out in the new field guide and update the Info Book!
On to the latest stuff.
The rain had abated when I got home last Wednesday and I found this Wolf Spider - very difficult to ID even with the book, all Wolf Spiders look very similar; I have a few of these that I've yet to ID.

The weekend was very productive, the creepies all came out to play.
There are suddenly dozens of these tiny wasps around, they are very easily disturbed and getting pictures is not easy.

A Weevil and a Stink Bug (I think)

This is another new species of wasp for me

And some more pictures of the Silver Marsh Spider.

A spotty Moth.

And a Golden Plusia Moth that I thought was a dead leaf.

To be continued.....

Re: Backyard wildlife
We don't have that many bugs in our garden, I think the birds eat them before I get a chance to pic them, but we did have this guy last week.

Re: Backyard wildlife
Lovely pics!
BT, what's the difference between a wolf spider and a rain spider...or is it the same thing?
