Hi Toko - W.T. on challenge plus three others. \O O/\

A first for us at Rietvlei was this malachite kingfisher seen at Island View hide who obliged by posing so nicely for us. Of course we took a gazillion photos but will not bore you with all of them but only a few.

I noticed it too! I never thought that they grow at this latitude :-?
The oak tree grows in most climatic conditions especially in Mediterranean semi-desert and subtropical rainforest. The pedunculate or English oak is the most common in southern and central British broadleaved woods. It grows in most conditions except marshy grounds.

There a whole lot of oak trees growing near the restaurant. One can sit and have breakfast, which we were doing, under the oak trees. A really lovely setting.
