"Wildlife needs to meet conservation costs, communities need to perceive a value in sharing this finite space, if we are going to successfully protect these priceless wilderness areas, which are no longer just national, but are global assets."

Not at the expense of fundamentals. The word used is Wildlife, not commercialized life. In SA, our government has effectively abdicated its responsibility in protecting these global assets by reducing funding year on year, if they are truly global, how about other governments of the globe insisting that the .gov pulls it weight or they must step in to take up the slack. These global assets cannot be funded by SanParks alone, this will automatically result in them trying to find commercial ways and means of raising funds.

Man was placed in charge and given the duty of caring for all creation, are we doing it?
