Not really, I love you all to bits!....

Day 5 Part 6-last

Prinswilliam and I EVENTUALLY arrived to find almost all of the troop already at Crooks' Corner for sundowners!

This had been our ritual for many days, and it never wears thin! :D

Here's Mygodchild (without shoes), prinsadam (middle brother), and Uncle Fixit!!

Uncle Fixit: "Where were you!? I was so worried my fist started moving up and down uncontrollably!"

Prinsadam: "Glad you're here!! The elephant are gone, but these hippos look just as murderous! Get me out of here, not like last night! Please!!"

RP: "Be calm, good people! I am here to protract...protesht...........defend you! (hic)"

The hippos in question, quite a regular bunch on the Luvhuvhu side of the Lookout...

And then an aggressive one:

Prinsadam: "OOOOH! EEEK! It's coming to get us!"

RP: "Yeah right, it'sh going to climb up this 3 meter earth wall! -O -O -O !"

(Prinsadam is not the bravest...as we'll see earlier! )

And then a fitting ending to our last day in paradise.... \O

That night was Goldenuncle's turn to braai....as usual he had taken the simple option of steak and potatoes, which turned out very well!!!

It was a very mellow affair, everyone having calmed down after the previous week's disasters and pranks, and this time Goldenuncle forced us to help destroy a 20 litre bottle of some unspecified red wine, to celebrate!

What can a man do? \O

Momprins: "How's your leg?"

RP: "Much better, but it's still sore, sometimes, mommy!"

Momprins: "How's your brother's hand?"

RP: "Much better! No more bleeding, and the glass pieces have all come out!"

Momprins: "How's your other brother's hand?"

RP: "Much better! The burn was treated well! And it's been almost four days now! Why does he always get the most attention!? My leg is SOOOORE! "

Momprins: "Stop whining! And get to bed! We have an early day tomorrow...long way to go!"

RP: "Yeah, Right!..."

Momprins: "I heard that!"

Needless to say, Momprins and prinswilliam were still pottering about late next morning, when I left, perhaps to go to Tihongonyeniiiiii!!! \O

Poppie, you will understood it yesterday. When I am old again I would have done a TR like this one next time.

I am sure that Buck Rogers will be in this one in about 11 years ago. \O

Wasn't there a mention somewhere of no alcohol allowed in the park?
