Actually including early parts of Day 7... :

Now the "Car Wash" in Phalaborwa is simply a front for a massive place of ill-repute.
A strange place!
For example, the first fellow I met complimented me on the choice of literature I kept in my bathroom at home, although I had never met him before in my life! Rather unnerving...

But we became good friends quickly, in reverse, so to speak! :D
(It turns out he and his SO had accompanied Scipio to my "pad" in Nelspruit for "Innibos" that week!)
I still firmly maintain that a socio-anthropological study should be done on the inhabitants of that town, without being nasty at all! 8)
The visitors to the bar included a manager, qualified accountant, ex-Springbok athlete, qualified designer...etc...
The bar lady may be an astrophysicist, for all I know! (A wonderful person...Grey Lady!)
But one wouldn't notice that at all...everyone knows everyone and is incredibly hospitable!
No money seems to change hands, and Scipio arm-wrestles ladies for drinks..no jokes...
Bar fights are left to continue until they are deemed disturbing, whereafter a senior member intervenes and peace descends and all is forgiven! (Sort of like a forum! )
You bring your own meat and Grey Lady braais it for you to perfection, and serves it up with delicious side orders!
Then you sit and chat, and watch the world go by... :D
Grey Lady does, however, have the endearing but deadly habit of pouring "extra hospitable" whiskys for "out of towners"...
Still, It was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to be back soon!

(And I did have my car washed!)
Thanks, all of you Phallies!
So where did I pick up that terrible injury?
A few days earlier!
