That's fine, Mike! \O

Firstly, the interaction between ellie youngster and slow rhino is entirely normal. X#X

Looks like a SANParks vehicle intruding...could be wrong?

Anyway, not acceptable...no matter who, they have a set of guidelines! 0*\

The truck is clearly intruding and not only ruining an interesting sighting for the tourists, but also scaring off the animals 0=

quel con O/ sorry a bad word in French :o0ps:
This Mr has certainly already saw all... so can't let tourist see this interesting interaction.

For sure, they have a schedule to respect... but maybe, better to leave on time instead of running... and ruin a sighting

SANParks vehicle ruins sighting for others

Post by Flutterby »

SANParks is under fire again! O** This video has been posted all over FB.
Visitors were watching a rare sighting of interaction between an Elephant and 2 Rhinos when a Safari Guide first drove off road to pass a car and then carried on driving 'through' the sighting. In doing this, he first chased the Elephant off and the Rhino soon followed. This could have been avoided by showing some patience and appreciation for the animals. In the video one can also clearly see some Kruger Park law breakers in the background. Safari Guides should know better. The reg.no. of the Safari vehicle FBJ 407 MP. Sightings like these a rare. Video sent in by Willem, Suzanne and Jean.

Privates/concessions mostly use bakkies, Lis...

Kruger uses the trucks...simple local stuff, more economical as they don't have to commute outside the Park! \O

Looks like the Isuzus they have been using of late. They would have denied it quickly if not one of theirs. No one else uses open trucks in Kruger , the rest of OSV's are 1 ton bakkies etc.
