Pretty Pink flower ( when I call something a pretty something it is because I do not know it’s proper name… )

This pretty (!) plant is the aptly named Strawberry Spiderhead Serruria aemula, an Endangered species.

It did make me think of a spider, when I saw it first

Thanks for giving my flower a name Toko.... Hmm..there maybe more names needed...:)

I had a little walk around Kirstenbosch - you have probably all realised by now that I do that quite often. Some people pay to go to a stuffy gym - I go to Kirstenbosch...:)
It was quite overcast yesterday but warm and not much of a breeze - perfect for flower photography - so off I went armed with my macro lens.

First of all - flowers can be still very pretty even when they have gone to seed.





and from the old to the new....



And the only name I have for the above and the next 2 photos is "vygie".....maybe Toko can give them a better name...:)






And these little flowers remind me of happy smiling faces....
