There is a waterhole right outside the gate, but I don't think you'd be able to see it from where chalet no. 1 situated -O-
So, yes, the waterhole must be new. (I can't open the other photos to see for myself.)

But I will check it out in 4 weeks' time and shall report with photos O**

Hypothetically the waterhole might attract not only birds :yes:

Something like that was missing at TR, it has always only been a overnight stop, but they had to wait for someone to pay for it O**

As promised, I brought back some photos from the new bird hide... well, after I had found it. All I knew was that the trail was supposed to start in front of chalet no. 1 - which looked like this:

So I went to see if I could find someone who would be able to help me. I was lucky enough to run into Nickes, a substitute attendant at Urikaruus when both Eric and Jacques are on holidays / leave. He walked with me to the location and pointed me towards the right track.
