In May our London family


came to visit so what better excuse than to pop in at Pilanesberg for quick visit. We decided to stay at The Kingdom Resort which is a short distance from two entrance gates.

Herewith a few photos from that short trip.

Beautiful scenery and DIL

I think that it's the first time that I have seen a baby elephant holding on to the the tail of the mother in nature. I thought that they only did it in the Disney cartoons

Black-chested Snake-Eagle.



Melanestic Goshawk in a very shady spot so light not too good. What was he looking at?

Hi Flutterby.

It was amazing for such a short visit but we really wanted to show young Pedro some elephant but as "Sods Law" they were not to be seen.
