Matobos National Park is a World Heritage Site situated 40 Kms south of Zimbabwe's second city, Bulawayo, AKA the City of Kings, along the road to Kezi, or the Matobos Rd out of the city centre.
Located 21 Kms from the main gate entrance off the circular drive, past Rhodes' Grave turn off, is the popular rest camp of Malelme dam. Accommodation is available in serviced 1 or 2 bedroom lodges, one roomed chalets with shared ablution block facilities and a camping and picnic site on the dam's edge, with clean ablution facilities comprising of showers and toilet cubicles, gender allocated.
During a recent visit over a holiday week end, May Day, the Vintage and Classic Club of Matabeleland members drove some of their collectables to this restcamp and below are some of the vehicles parked outside some of the lodges and chalets.

At our little meet in Nelspruit last week your boet told us where you got the name "ispeakbaobab" from, I nearly split myself wide open with laughter. -O
