The chalet has a public viewpoint on top, how is this for a wilderness experience

Ja, I was wondering about that platform on top of the accomm as well...
And it looks really nice from the inside, but with people coming and going all the time it certainly wouldn't be an option. Particularly not considering some of the tourist won't be able to understand the "Residents Only" sign at the gate to the driveway of that unit.

You could run a informal coffee shop and sell drinks and snacks to the visitors to fund the accommodation cost

You get your own ablutions as far as I gathered, but they are detached from the accommodation unit.
