Flutts, The Brat and Mommo Looking for Caracal

Yes, the time has finally come! In three days time Flutts, Mommo and I will be back in Kruger for our 10th trip together!
Excitement levels are rising as very slowly, small piles of books, food and camera equipment are gathering around the house. The menu has been set and all the meat is either sitting in a creamy marinade, or icy freezer. The car is cleaned and the green ribbon is ready.
Now, for this trip, there is a very specific theme, as you can see by its name. On this 6 day trip to the park, we will be in search of the elusive Caracal!
Over the past few months I have been noting down the roads where Caracal has been seen, and to increase our chance of seeing one, we will be doing a night drive from Shingwedzi, where many have seen Caracal from. Maybe a bit overboard, but I will stop at nothing to find this cat!
Though Mommo is also ready to search every corner of the park to find it. Mommo has been travelling to Kruger since the 1950's and on all of his 50 trips to the park, he has still not seen a Caracal. He has seen a leopard killing a Clawless Otter, Wild Dogs chasing and killing an impala, a lioness taking out a warthog and another lioness killing an impala in the Olifants river, and, and, and. I could go on and on about his amazing luck and now it is time to add this brilliant animal to his list.
The itinerary for the trip will be 2 nights at Shingwedzi, 2 at Satara and the last 2 at Skuks. We were originally only going for 2 nights at Satara and then 2 at Skuks but as per usual, that urge to spend more time in the park drove us to book and extra two nights.
Plus, we thought it stupid to go for such a little time with the petrol being at the price it is now.
I will leave it up to my mom to finish off this little introduction to our TT, and then, at midnight on Monday, WE'RE OFF!
