Africa Wild

Mount Amanzi is a resort a few metres downstream from the Hartebeespoort Dam wall. We had the whole SA part of the BT clan there to celebrate the matriarch's 80th birthday

I managed to get some photos of insects and birds that I don't see in my garden.

There were many wasps around; this was the first of a few different species I saw.

A Hoverfly or a Bee Fly? Whatever it is, it has a long proboscis.

The critters are as I find them, luckily they seem to like perching on flowers!
