Sundew plant with prey
Pink sundew (Drosera capillaris) is an insectivorous wildflower that grows in abundance in wet pinelands, savannas and bogs. Its leaf blades are covered in tentacle-like glands that secrete a sticky, acidic substance in which insects become trapped. The leaves then fold in on themselves, ensnaring the insects until digestion is complete.

Great shots exfmem
Question , if you focus stack do you do it manual or on auto focus
Just started again. Did it before digital , then stopped as I did not have the right equipment.

PRWIN "Question , if you focus stack do you do it manual or on auto focus"
I do not focus stack, as I'm not that knowledgable about it. I know what it is, of course, but I just never got that deep into the "professional" (not as in money-making, but deep understanding) realm of macro photography. You are SO much more informed about photography than I am, so I really can't offer too much on that topic. LOVE your pics

Thanks exfmem
Was ,looking at something quite interesting recently where you get a adaptor with threads either side and put a old film lens wide 15 to 35mm on a zoom to get really close macro shots. This chap gets 200 photo of a fly's head Crazy but spectacular.
Really like you're photo's and I will be posting more here as it is a really nice past time and you don't have to go far
this was 12 photo that was stacked for depth of field
Canon 5DMK111, canon 100 F2.8 macro with .4 and 2x extender tube
