Deteriorating Gravel Roads - No Diesel For Graders?

Post by Richprins »

leachy reports that running generators in camps to combat loadshedding has resulted in staggering amounts of diesel being used. Croc Bridge used R2 million in a year for example. There is no diesel available therefore to grade gravel roads, which is why they are in such a poor state. :-(

First they say that it is lack of diesel and now it is a lack of machinery

They are not able to think ahead further than tomorrow. It's probably also the reason for the complete lack of maintenance all over the place.

Every tender in SA is time-consuming because a corrupt provider must be found and kickbacks arranged for the payer, Lis...

⚠️Social Media Alert⚠️
Our valued guests are informed that we know that the gravel roads in the southern part of the park have not been easy to travel on recently. Please note that a couple of graders have been procured to fix the situation as soon as possible. We humbly request that you remain patient with us while we sort out a few logistics, which will see to the roads ready to welcome you all for enhanced guest experiences in the park without limitations.
