On our way back we stopped again at Klopperfontein and there were for a change ... some Elephants
Somehow I knew it would be an Elephant-blessed trip this year.

Day 6: From Sirenhi to Crook's Corner
The early afternoon was quiet and we headed down to Babalala picnic site, to spend a lazy afternoon there. This is one of the quieter picnic sites in Kruger without shop or take-aways and very often we were luckily the only visitors there. And this time again no soul around
But the snacks and drinks had to wait, as we saw these ones coming -O
The Roans went over to the waterhole, had a quick drink and left So we had enough time to relax with coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches and fruit

Day 6: From Sirenhi to Crook's Corner
On the road to Sirenhi a breeding herd in the goldenlit Mopane bush
Suddenly a youngster gave out a trumpeting roar and came towards the car flapping its ears. I don't know why SO was reversing at an accelerated speed

Day 6: From Sirenhi to Crook's Corner
We stopped for a sundowner watching Dwarf Mongoose and back in the camp, the fire was started with a glass of red wine. After supper there was a power cut when this little birdie happened to fly into the bungalow Now try to find it in the darkness After a while it was found in the bath room and I thought catching a wild bird by hand was not easy, but this one was easy to catch.
Don't tell me that this is not a beautiful blurd
Little Swift
Night sounds: roaring lion and a little later a herd of buffalo having a bath in the river.
