Load shedding in Kruger

I am assuming that the camps in Kruger are subject to load shedding too??
If so, do the camps have generators, so that at least functions at reception, shop & the restaurant can continue?
And is one able to get fuel if there is a blackout in operation??

Dzombo, I read on FB yesterday that the camps do have generators that seem to power everything...even aircon in the huts!

A big Shout Out to SANPARKS and Berg en Dal management. As soon as load shedding hits us, the generator in the camp is started - providing electricity to the WHOLE CAMP!
Natasha Schutte We in croc bridge this pm —- loadshedding & aircons worked!!!!
Vivienne Randall Just been in Kruger for 4 days generators kicked in and everything worked

I tried it in Shingwedzi and the generator went into work right away, IF it was load-shedding

At Letaba there are no generators kicking in if there is loadshedding. Not sure about for restaurant but camping and units this side no electricity. SANParks scoring if there is loadshedding and they don’t use generators, saves fuel costs and electricity costs and people have paid upfront for electricity they are now not using. 6 hours less electricity per day is a savingof 25%.
Not sure Sanparks will run generators too much longer at other camps if they can get away with blaming loadshedding, am sure they will do the math and decide whether the savings outweighs the moans they will get.

Would they not still be able to / want to run the admin side of things?
