:o0ps: :-? Frantic Tortoise Beetle Zophosis sp.
Family: Tenebrionidae
Subfamily: Tentyriinae or Pimeliinae?? :-? :-? I get conflicting listings and if I have to read one more thesis on taxonomy revisions of this genus/tribe etc. someone is gonna get hurt around here O/ (0!)
Tribe: Zophosini.

Similar to Lagria vulnerata, do we search into this genus or tribe -O-
Looks good to me. The description in Picker, Griffiths, Weaving matches very well ( dull metallic brown, green, or violet, etc) but also says there are many similar species. What about posting as Lagria sp. possibly vulnerata?

Is this Allodapula variegata? I see there is already an entry in the book, but the reason I ask is that it was taken in KTP and the distribution in Picker, etc. only shows it on the far eastern coastal edge of S. Africa, so was wondering if maybe it's some other species. -O-
