Definitely great timing on this one Flutts

Yes I also heard that the giraffe had been knocked over... hard to imagine what kind of impact that would have beenBushcraft wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 3:47 pm No traffic on the H4-1 at a giraffe killI may be wrong, but I think this giraffe hit by a car/delivery vehicle because at 1st there were no predators on it.
How did it smell, maybe that cleared the traffic jam

Great male lion sighting on the H4-2![]()
A relaxing early morning at Marloth, I would have been pacing around, but still a good lion sighting at Gezantombi/Vurhami bridge dirt loop

The smell wasn't great but also wasn't too terrible. Maybe everyone had already seen the lion as it had been there for a number of days by then I think

Sometimes the pacing is worth it if the timing is right

Thanks RP

We were also a bit confused about the pride as most of them seemed sub-adult.

One thought is that another pride has recently formed a bit further west along the Crocodile River, so perhaps they came from the Vurhami pride and have more adults

Thanks Roger. Definitely a lot of youngsters in the Vurhami gangRogerFraser wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:20 pm Catching up again .Love the visitors at Marloth .
