I don't know if the times show on the pics...but suffice it to say we got back to Letaba rather rapidly...

Not pleasant, I think we had a half-hour grace period while Precious waited for us, Bless Her Soul!

We were sort of going at the right speed....



Fr: "Asiiimbonnaa..."

RP: "Watch that ku...Ok...it's behind us now....is your seatbelt on, Mam...."

Mam: "Wooh...I've found another one of the toysh..."

RP: "Right! Now watch that ele..."




And so on and so forth...



And back at reception...

Pr: "Right, hello, Dear. Here are your keys."

RP: "Oh, Precious, how any ways do I love th..."

Pr: "That's quite alright...off you go now... "



And we reached our allocated accommodation! Yay!












Unfortunately, the eggs fell out too...but that was a minor at this stage. They are under the braai awaiting sorting...





We had utterly no idea where we were in Camp...just so grateful to have a spot!

It was a quiet braai...but a lot of noise from VERY nearby...sounds of ripping material, honking etc...


Fr: "What the hell was that?"

RP: "Nothing...a neighbour snoring or something..."

Ma: "Eeek, what was that? You know everythingsh about the night shoundsh?"

RP: Probably a branch falling off a tree...now count those eggs! "

Hopefully no speeding

So much better to sleep inside kruger than to sleep outside

And then you sleep at Letaba. So wonderful to sleep there

We would have slept in the elephant museum...and not noticed! It was a big adrenaline release!


We had lost all track of time too...
