The new location of the waterhole bothers me a bit :-?
I found it so well placed in a natural setting, under the big tree. He is now in full sun ... better for photos? but we must place the water holes depending photographers or useful to animals

the birdbaths were baned... because of bees.... but bees are also around the tap, so problem stayed exactly the same, bath or not 0-
open the tap and wash the hands = bite of bees O-/

cordon bleu... was nice... very colorful on the braai 0*\ =O:

I think you are right.... the bill seems a bit longer than these of the Whydah :-?

En route to Gharagab \O luck again Meerkats, a Red-necked Falcon, and at Union End ... the souvenir's photo and a note in French in the book that found a box, for shelter from Lions and other small curious O:V

We are ready for the suite of the trip. My nephew is the driver today. The road is entirely of sand, nice, with beautiful scenery ... we are alone in the world. We started with a few birds, several Steenboks and we stop at Gharagab waterhole, there is Mousebirds in the bushes in the background, and Sandgrouses but nothing really special.

We reach the camp at about 14h and it's Andres who welcomes us and gives us the cottage No 3 O/\ it's beautiful, beautiful view of the water point, there are a number of birds and we are here for the next two nights, I am already looking forward O\/

There are Swallow Bee-Eaters, the Scaly-feathered Finch are the first to test my birdbaths, mice will follow ;-)
