They could have informed more or less for how long the filling station would be closed
It could have been a month or a few days as in fact it was.

Late afternoon in camp is a special time instead of being out in the Park. Its Quiet, Its Braai Lighting time, Photographic Light from the West is basically best in Kruger for this time of Day and you get special visitors showing off in the sublime light at this time of day and revelling in the Quietness of no other people.
