A bit of Duzzi day report but we were doing a quick drive by shooting day .
At Kumana Dam we found a saddle bill digging in the mud and very little water .
We carried on our way and about halfway between the Dam and Tshokwane we found some flat cats .It was a bit cooler now and they were still sleeping .
We left the sleeping Coallition and went onto Tshokwane .Going to one set of toilets the Male side was closed so we went to the other side . As I was going around to the Males entrance I heard a noise in the bushes and there was a Hyena .Called SO to take some pics .
It wondered off into the Bushes and we left Tshokwane and got about 200 meters down the road we saw it or a friend crossing the road again ...
and as we passed the corner there was a vehicle stopped and they waved us closer and drove off ...our first Leopard of the trip
So we stopped to enjoy for a few minutes .
We shuffled around a bit trying to get a clear view but it was impossible to find and the Cat did not like the attention .
Shortly the Orpen Dam attendant arrived behind us and cautiously looked at what we were watching then went on by ...
We tried to get a shot from another position but it was also not clear ,we left on our way again .
On the approach to the Nkumbe lookout hill we passed some Ellies.
No time to stop an enjoy the view today we did shoot a picture through the Windscreen .
Closer to Lower Sabie on the H10 we came across this fellow .
and Managed to get a decent picture this time .
Crossing the Lower Sabie bridge was good for the birding section of the quick trip .
On the road to Croc bridge we found our first sighting of these .There were two cars stopped on the opposite side from the sighting so as we drove by I stopped and we took a few quick pics and some grumpy Git in one of the cars made a sarky comment about us blocking his view so I returned the feeling of good will

.Not sure how the git expected me to get passed them anyway .
After blocking their view for 10 seconds we left .We found as we had moved further South it got allot drier . Before exiting we snapped a few quick pics of how dry it was in the area .
We left the gate and started on the actual trip home .Passing the Marloth turnoff we felt drawn to turn right and go to the house there but went Left . After another 9 hours on the road we got home .In hindsight we really should have stopped it was a really long day and too much driving to do safely in one day .
