Really lucky to see the raptor and owl insect feats, Pumbaa!
I wonder what eagles those are...not tawny...
Nice to see water there!

The obligatory impalas were as well not far
and finally also the African hoopoe was willing to sit still enough for some shots.
Then we already stood on the very last causeway close to the turn off to the Bateleur camp
also here the water was still flowing over the causeway
and after we looked a bit around we noticed a grey heron
and a very large crocodile waiting for something
fishy which at least from time to time simply have to come down.
Before our obligatory break at Tshanga we stopped for kudus
and then we stretched our legs a bit at the look out point and slowly we carried on and also on this side of the road we enjoyed the views into the riverbed as it was once again animalwise a bit quiet. Suddenly we had to stop as right in front of us in the road a giraffe congress was about to take place

they all only moved extreme slow and as always were even more looking around carefully instead of going a bit faster
but as we had all the time in the world we simply enjoyed seeing that many of them walking together.
After a felt eternity the road was finally clear and we could continue
and now saw a bit more animals such as zebras
and to our delight more warthogs who even stood still
enough for a couple of close up shots.
In a larger puddle alongside the road we spotted Egyptian goose
and finally stopped at Red Rocks view point and enjoyed the always breathtaking views
and quite far away very well hidden in a bush we spotted a white bellied sunbird a pity was that same did not came farer.
to be continued.....
