We have gulls where I live in the middle of Europe

Obviously lakes are all right too

Apparently the darter behaviour is quite common for them.

Not sure what's wrong with the ostrich.

I like the Tern in flight - head sharp, and the wings give it a sense of motion. Nice!

We decided to visit Rietvlei on Sunday 13 March, here is some photos...

This when we arrived

Kormorant at the first hide after the entrance

Ducks

We noticed that the water was very green on the side of the dam

Zebras
