On with the birds I managed to the odd tick, but I'm still kinda mad that I never managed to capture that collared sunbird that was zooming in and out the shrubs at Matyholweni

The more complying birds were:

Common fiscal


Speckled mousebird


Another one trying to get warm in the morning


Bokmakierie


Albeit a bit grumpy


Another grumpy one


This time as a glossy starling


Southern boubou


Blacksmith lapwing


Black-winged stilts, some yellow-billed ducks and some terrapins thrown into the mix

I remember an amethyst sunbird in Addo that almost made me go

I like the boubou!

The bar-throated apalis is a good find under the dense bushes there, you need a torch though
