In cases like that, you just need to tune out all the mayhem and focus on the sighting...a leopard!!! O/\ O/\

You are right Flutts but I come from Cape Town and we are like, shooo, so relaxed down here hey, cause everything is cool, if you catch my drift. O:V O:V O:V

I thrust myself into a cauldron like that especially with the excitement of a Leopard thrown in and I lose the plot. :-?

TR, we are from Gauteng where we all suffer from road rage O** , so we lose the plot very quickly!! =O: And we've been in situations in the park where it feels like we are in Jozi rush hour, but I always remind myself that I'd much rather be in a traffic jam in Kruger than in one at home! ;-)

But, like, ja man, I, like, get your drift! O:V

Cool Flutts, yeah you folk up north have gotit bad with the traffic, but in truth we are not that far behind especially during Peak hour. 0-

I did eventually settle into it as I will explain later in the TT but that 1st confrontation was hectic and whilst I had read about it, experiencing the mayhem was difficult to cope with in the beginning. 0*\

I'd rather miss a sighting than get into that kind of Traffic jam. Sometimes they just don't let you out or there is no room for passing 0*\

Get you Liz, I just figured that this was the norm and I had to suck it up especially on the H4-1 -O-

It is the norm on that road over holidays and long weekends. :-(

Leopard O/\ O/\

Those chaotic sightings on the H4-1 are the norm 0*\ I used to get involved in the scrum, but nowadays just find another route or turn and head back to camp O/

Hi Trailrunner , just picking up on this . Great sightings for the first day -- rhino , leopard :-0
About the " bush-toilet " , just consider it as being " drought-relief " =O:

Please carry on ........

Thanks BC, I was just really excited and yes this was your leopard, it's just that unlike so many of you on here I couldn't be that blasé, day 1 and a big cat and I’ve only ever seen one leopard live before. ;-)

I just wish that I had got a better shot, but hey that was more on me than the situation and I faced a steep and rapid learning curve if I was to get something from the experience in the future.
